A leading location data and technology platform company based in São Paulo, Brazil is seeking an experienced accounting professional to manage General Ledger tasks. The role requires a college degree in Accounting or Finance and 5+ years of relevant experience, along with proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office. The position follows a hybrid work arrangement, with three days on-site and two days remote. English fluency is required.

What's the role?

General Ledger Accounting:

This role is responsible for multiple accounting tasks that comprise:

• Journal entries: Record daily, weekly and monthly journal entries across different entities.
• Payroll: Oversight and support of payroll activities to ensure correct payments and internal control processes are followed. Work with internal and external stakeholders for social security compliance.
• Taxes: Prepare and review workpapers for external fiscal consultants for tax compliance.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports and their support schedules.
• Statutory Audit: Conduct the process with external and internal auditors.

This position requires a college level degree in Accounting or Finance and at least 5 years of professional experience, preferably in a global company. The following skills and knowledge are also desired:

• Experience with accounting software programs, ERPs (such as PeopleSoft, SAP, etc.).
• Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Good communication skills, proactiveness, independence and team spirit drive.
• Verbal and written English fluency.

IMPORTANT:

This role reports is based in Sao Paulo, Brazil, and follows a hybrid working arrangement of three days site in our Sao Paulo office and two days remote (work from home). No exceptions will be made to this working arrangement.
