A leading cybersecurity organization is seeking a Speaker & Content Manager to join their Summit team. We are seeking a Speaker & Content Managerto join our Summit team. This role plays a key part in working closely with the NALT Summit team and each of the different SANS Curriculum as they develop, and coordinate content in the NALT regions for a series of cybersecurity conferences/summits. The Speaker & Content Manager will be responsible for curating, coordinating, and managing speakers for our events and platforms. This role will involve working closely with speakers to ensure the content they deliver aligns with our objectives and resonates with our target audience.
The Speaker & Content Manager is responsible for working with the defined summit teams to guide the development of Summit content, presentation, workshops, agendas, etc. to build world class summit events. This included curating keynote speakers, managing the Call for Presentations (CFP) processes, working closely with the Summit advisor board during presentation selection and managing speakers as they are selected or rejected. The ideal candidate is an energetic, highly motivated self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can work independently with minimal supervision. This is a highly visible role that requires exceptional professionalism, communication skills, relationship building, schedule management and attention to detail.
This position requires travel within the United States to attend and manage speakers at 8-10 SANS Summits throughout the year. When not traveling, the role is remote and requires a disciplined, self-motivated individual who can remain productive and engaged while working from a home office and in a virtual team environment.
