An international Ingredients distributor is seeking a Technical Sales and Product Manager to expand their business in the food industry in Spain. This role requires a degree in Food Technology, 5+ years of sales experience in food ingredients, and fluency in Spanish and English. The successful candidate will manage customer relationships, conduct market analyses, and identify new opportunities. This position is office-based in Madrid or Barcelona, with some home office flexibility.

Qualificações

  • At least 5 years sales experience of Food Ingredients/Not FMCG products.
  • Ability to solve technological problems and passion for food product development.
  • Very organized, reliable, positive thinking.

Responsabilidades

  • Oversight of business expansion with existing customers.
  • Identification and exploration of new markets and customers.
  • Knowledge of industrial food customers in Spain.
  • Conduct in-depth market analyses to identify opportunities.

You will sell Food Ingredients to the Food Industry

You will source Food Ingredients from our suppliers

  • Sales area centre part of Spain
  • The position will be office based Madrid or Barcelona, 6 days home office are possible, the rest you will vist clients
  • Main target is visiting clients
  • Our client is an international Ingredients distributor
  • You have at least 5 years sales experience of Food Ingredient/Not FMCG products

The job holder primarily oversees the expansion of business with existing customers, as well as the identification and exploration of new markets and customers in the food market in Spain.

Tasks
  • Knowledge of industrial food customers in Spain.
  • Technical and commercial knowledge of cereals in all their forms, grains, flours, flakes... will be an asset.
  • Customer & supplier relationship management: Establishing and maintaining relationships with customers and suppliers.
  • Portfolio management: Identifying opportunities in the portfolio and supplementing missing product/solution offerings.
  • Market / Competition: Conduct in-depth market analyses to understand supplier & customer needs, assess competitive landscapes and identify new opportunities. Act as Product Manager for various product ranges and/or suppliers, taking responsibility for the relationship and purchases with them.

Requirements
  • Degree in Food Technology/Food Chemistry Must have
  • Ability to solve technological problems and passion for food product development
  • Exceptionally good communication, negotiation and analytical skills
  • High willingness to travel
  • Very organized, reliable, positive thinking
  • Very good knowledge of Spanish and English (fluent in spoken and written) Must have
  • You have a valid driving license Must have
