For an international Food Ingredients Distributor, acting in Europe and Africa we are looking for a

Technical Sales Manager Food Ingredients

  • You will sell valued added Food Ingredients to the Food and Beverage Industry
  • area South Africa
  • the position will home office-based
  • You will be responsible for the business development of a selection of food ingredients in different branches of the food industry.
Tasks
  • Analysis of the market and the product range of our suppliers to find new potentials
  • Responsible for making market strategy, purchasing, and selling of assigned Product-groups in Italy
  • Building a close relationship with our suppliers and customers
  • Visits of customers, analysis of their needs, creation of value propositions
  • Participation in production trials at the customer/implementation of small-scale trials in the application kitchen
  • Project management in close cooperation with the responsible Customer Service Manager
  • Alignment of the sales strategy for the product groups of the suppliers with the help of the Category Managers and the Country Manager
  • You will benefit from numerous pieces of training (internal and abroad) every year.
  • Discover and understand customer’s needs and develop tailor-made solutions
  • Conduct lab, small-scale or industrial trials with customers

Requirements
  • Degree in Food Technology Must have
  • Ability to solve technological problems and passion for food product development
