Job summary

Dev.Pro, a US-based outsourced software development company, is hiring contractors to join a global, remote-first engineering team working across 55+ countries. You will own the end-to-end architecture of a growing embedded finance platform, spanning AWS, .NET services, data flows, and partner integrations.

The role requires 10+ years in software engineering with 5+ years as a Solutions Architect, deep AWS experience, microservices, and strong communication to influence cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software engineering, including 5+ years as a Solutions Architect.
• Strong hands-on experience with C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Core.
• Strong AWS architecture experience and production-grade distributed systems.
• Experience with microservices, REST APIs, and event-driven patterns.
• Knowledge of React-based architecture, micro-frontends, or embeddable components.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and MongoDB, including data modeling and migrations.
• Hands-on with Docker, Kubernetes/EKS, IaC, CI/CD, and release controls.
• Ability to define non-functional requirements for availability, scalability, performance, security, and privacy.
• Strong communication to influence cross-functional teams and partners.
• Valid US visa and ability to travel to the US for onboarding and knowledge transfer.

Responsibilities

• Own solution architecture from discovery through production, including designs and guidance.
• Design architectures across React portals, .NET microservices, APIs, Python data pipelines, and databases.
• Design AWS solutions using EKS, Lambda, ECS, S3, and Step Functions.
• Maintain architecture decision records, diagrams, and deployment views.
• Guide secure integrations with embedded finance providers and partners.
• Define patterns for service boundaries, API-first design, and event-driven processing.
• Identify risks and dependencies; develop mitigation plans.
• Collaborate with platform engineering on Terraform/Pulumi, Kubernetes, and CI/CD.
• Drive secure design with IAM, encryption, and TLS management; ensure production readiness.
• Coach engineers and communicate trade-offs to stakeholders.

We invite a Solutions Architect to join our team and work on an orchestration platform for a leading global fintech company. The platform enables business partners to integrate once and offer a growing range of embedded financial products to their clients. In this role, you’ll own the end-to-end architecture across AWS infrastructure, .NET services, data flows, and partner integrations, collaborating closely with engineering teams and stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable solutions.

• Strong hands-on experience with C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Core
• Strong hands-on AWS architecture experience delivering secure, production-grade distributed systems
• Solid experience with microservices, REST APIs, asynchronous/ event-driven patterns, and enterprise integrations
• Working knowledge of React-based architecture, micro-frontends or embeddable components, and browser security
• Experience with PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases (MongoDB), including data modeling, performance, and migrations
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes/EKS, IaC, CI/CD, and automated release controls
• Ability to define non-functional requirements for availability, scalability, performance, recoverability, security, privacy, and supportability
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical decisions and influence cross-functional teams and external partners
• Valid U.S. visa and ability to travel to the U.S. for onboarding and knowledge transfer

Desirable:

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional)
• Background in payments, financial services, embedded finance, lending, BaaS, or regulated platforms
• Experience with Akamai, AWS KMS/ACM, Argo CD, Snowflake, SFTP/file integrations, and enterprise identity/SSO
• Experience with pluggable provider architectures, white-label portals, embeddable widgets, or multi-tenant platforms
• Familiarity with architecture governance, threat modeling, PCI-related controls, privacy requirements, and audit evidence

Key responsibilities and your contribution

In this role, you’ll provide architectural leadership throughout the development lifecycle, ensuring technical solutions meet business needs and quality standards.

• Own solution architecture from discovery through production, including technical designs, transition plans, and engineering guidance
• Design architectures across React portals, embeddable widgets, .NET microservices, APIs, Python data pipelines, and databases
• Design AWS solutions using EKS, Lambda, ECS, S3, and Step Functions
• Maintain architecture decision records, context and sequence diagrams, API and event contracts, non-functional requirements, and deployment views
• Guide secure integrations with embedded finance providers, partners, identity services, enterprise APIs, file-based exchanges, webhooks, and downstream billing or settlement capabilities
• Define patterns for service boundaries, API-first design, event-driven processing, idempotency, resiliency, error handling, auditability, and modular provider onboarding
• Identify technical risks and cross-team dependencies, and develop mitigation plans
• Partner with platform engineering teams on Terraform/Pulumi, Kubernetes, CI/CD, environment strategy, secrets management, and release controls
• Drive secure design using IAM, encryption, key/secret and TLS/certificate management, network segmentation, least privilege, and secure development practices
• Define observability standards; lead performance, resilience, and production readiness reviews
• Coach engineers, resolve cross-team decisions, and communicate technical trade-offs to stakeholders
