A health technology company is looking for a Software Test Engineer to design and execute manual and automated test cases. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with medical software regulations and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Candidates should have experience in regulated industries, strong SQL skills, and good communication abilities. This onsite position in Blumenau, Brazil, requires full-time presence in the company's facilities.

Qualificações

  • Proven experience as a Senior Test Analyst, preferably in regulated industries.
  • Strong understanding of Windows architecture.
  • Advanced knowledge in Microsoft SQL, including T-SQL.
  • Experience in desktop test automation tools.

Job Title

Software Test Engineer

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, document, and executemanual and automated test casesbased on functional and technical specifications.
  • Ensure testing complies withmedical software regulations(e.g, FDA guidelines).
  • Analyze requirements and specifications to identify gaps, ambiguities, and risks early in the development cycle.
  • Investigate, reproduce, and report software defects withclear, concise, and well-documented bug reports.
  • Performregression testing, integration testing, and acceptance testing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure defects aretracked, prioritized, and resolved.
  • Implementtest automation for desktop applicationsusing UiPath or equivalent tools.
  • Optimize test coverage by balancingmanual and automated strategies.
  • Monitor and maintaintest environmentsincluding Windows servers, domain controllers, and client systems.
  • Write and executecomplex SQL queries(Microsoft SQL Server) for data validation, test preparation, and troubleshooting.
  • Mentor junior testers and contribute to continuous improvement in QA processes and tools.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Senior Test Analyst, QA Engineer, or similar role, preferably inregulated industries(medical, pharma, aerospace).
  • Strong understanding ofWindows architecture, including domain controllers, server-client relationships, and network configurations.
  • Advanced knowledge inMicrosoft SQL(T-SQL), including writing and optimizing queries, joins, and stored procedures.
  • Experience indesktop test automationtools, ideally UiPath, but open to other similar solutions.
  • Excellentdefect reporting and documentationskills, with attention to reproducibility and clarity.
  • Advanced English communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Stronginvestigative mindsetfor diagnosing and closing complex defects.
  • Ability to workindependentlywhile maintaining strong collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Familiarity withAgile/Scrummethodologies.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience withmedical software compliance standards.
  • Knowledge ofperformance and load testingtechniques.
  • Knowledge ofcontinuous integration tools(e.g., Azure DevOps, Github, etc).
  • Exposure and understanding of automation tools and practices
  • Knowledge of cloud computing ( AWS ).
  • Understanding ofHL7 Messaging

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
