Job Summary:

The Elite Job is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Software Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst at the entry level. As a Software QA Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and performance of software applications before they reach production. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and execution of test plans and test cases to ensure software functionality meets the required standards.

• Identify and report software defects, track them through to resolution, and perform retesting to confirm fixes.

• Collaborate with developers and project teams to understand requirements and design effective testing strategies.

• Perform functional, regression, and performance testing on web-based and mobile applications.

• Create and maintain test documentation, including test cases, test scripts, and test data.

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the overall improvement of testing methodologies and processes.

• Contribute to the development of automated test scripts and frameworks (training will be provided).

• Continuously learn and stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and testing methodologies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• A strong interest in software testing and quality assurance.

• Basic understanding of software development and testing methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).

• Familiarity with common testing tools and technologies (e.g., Selenium, JIRA, TestRail).

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new tools and technologies.

• A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.

Experience:

• No prior experience required, but any internships, projects, or coursework related to software testing or QA would be a plus.

• Familiarity with testing or QA environments in any capacity (school projects, open-source contributions, etc.) is an advantage.

Working Hours:

• Full-time position (40 hours per week).
