Google is looking for a Software Engineer in São Paulo to develop next-generation technologies that impact billions of users. In this role, you will tackle projects critical to Google’s needs, working on full stack development across various programming languages including Java, Python, and C++.

The opportunity exists to collaborate with teams on crucial technical decisions while building software that powers Google’s flagship products. A Bachelor's degree and fluent communication in English are required.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
• 2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms.
• 2 years of experience with full stack development, across back-end such as Java, Python, Golang, or C++ codebases, and front-end experience including JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, CSS or equivalent.
• Ability to communicate in English fluently as this is a customer-facing role that requires interactions in English with local stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.
• Experience developing accessible technologies.
• Ability to own/lead projects.
• Ability to work across data pipelines, Machine Learning models, storage, and serving infrastructure.
• Excellent data processing and analytical skills.
