About The Opportunity

We are looking for a Solution Architect to lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and resilient payment solutions for the acquiring business. This professional will serve as the technical authority throughout the entire solution lifecycle, collaborating with clients, business stakeholders, and engineering teams to ensure seamless integration, high performance, and compliance with security standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end architectures for payment processing solutions.
• Provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle, including inception, design, development, deployment, and support.
• Define current, target, and future-state architectures for products and platforms.
• Lead integrations with e-commerce platforms, mobile applications, and POS systems, including API strategies.
• Define cloud migration approaches, including rehost, refactor, replatform, and modernization initiatives.
• Ensure solutions meet performance, scalability, resilience, observability, and security requirements.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor for clients and internal teams.
• Ensure compliance with PCI DSS and other relevant security standards.
• Produce technical documentation and support knowledge-sharing initiatives when necessary.

Requirements & Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Architecture roles (Solution, Enterprise, or Technical Architecture).
• Strong knowledge of Java and Spring Boot.
• Proven experience designing solutions and translating business requirements into technical architectures.
• Experience with payment processing, acquiring platforms, or other high-volume critical systems.
• Solid understanding of Microservices, Event-Driven Architecture, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), SOA, and Serverless architectures.
• Knowledge of payment ecosystems, including gateways, card networks, tokenization, fraud prevention, and security practices.
• Experience with Cloud platforms (AWS preferred), Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and messaging systems.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, DevSecOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and observability frameworks.
• Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related fields.
• Fluent Portuguese and English (required).
