R/GA's Studio in Sao Paulo seeks a Senior Video Editor who thinks in editorial vision and motion design, able to extend edits in After Effects when needed and not rely on others for everything.
You will lead editorial across complex campaigns, mentor junior editors, and help shape storytelling in an age of generative tools, collaborating with AI artists and producers.
Qualificações
- 5+ years of professional editing in commercial/advertising/high-end content.
- Expert-level Premiere Pro and high proficiency in After Effects (motion graphics, compositing, color grading, VFX).
- Proven editorial leadership with a portfolio showing pacing and integration of visuals/audio.
- Self-starter who manages multiple projects and meets deadlines.
- Genuine interest in AI tools and fluency with emerging platforms (Runway, Kling, Veo, Magnific, etc.).
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate.
- Fast output mindset without sacrificing craft.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
Responsabilidades
- Lead editorial across client deliverables, campaigns, and social content—set tone and visual language.
- Use Premiere Pro and After Effects fluently; handle motion graphics, compositing, color, and VFX when needed.
- Know when to self-service and when to collaborate with animators for complex sequences.
- Stay on top of emerging AI platforms and tools; shape generative workflows into editorial.
- Mentor junior editors, review work, and maintain quality standards across the team.
- Communicate schedules and turnaround expectations with producers.
- Work cross-functionally with motion designers, colorists, sound designers, and AI artists.

We're not just looking for an editor, but an AI Filmmaker who thinks in terms of editorial vision and motion design—someone who jumps confidently into After Effects to extend the edit when needed, rather than relying on motion designers for everything. You'll lead editorial across complex projects while mentoring junior editors and setting the tone for how we approach storytelling in an age of generative tools.
