We are proactively seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the frontend and backend development, with both deep technical knowledge and great communication skills. As a key member of the VTEX team, you’ll play a vital part in building a resilient, scalable commerce platform used by our clients across the world.
In this role, you will discuss solution proposals and software architecture, actively contributing to the definition and execution of our strategic initiatives. You will focus on the frontend to capture user events and send them to the backend API to ingest in the Lake House structure. Additionally, mobile development knowledge will be considered an asset.

You will be part of our Activity Flow team, responsible for tracking events in the front stores and creating ecommerce metrics vision. The team has a massive impact on our operation, producing millions of events to our infrastructure. Our reach goes from the internal VTEX's teams, extending all the way to our Merchants with key insightful data.

WHO YOU ARE

• You have exceptional communication skills and the ability to translate business challenges into clear problem statements, proposing clever solutions;
• Demonstrated comprehensive technical proficiency in frontend development, encompassing operating system fundamentals and rendering methodologies;
• With a profound technical grasp of backend systems, you are adept at constructing resilient APIs, emphasizing security and quality;
• You always have quality and scalability in mind when proposing or building solutions, both on a day-to-day basis;
• You prioritize demands and solutions using a data-oriented approach;
• Experience with events management;
• You have worked with Android and IOS environments is a plus!
• Experience working in ecommerce solutions is a plus!
