BairesDev is seeking a Senior Security Automation Engineer to drive security controls and threat modeling across the development lifecycle. You will automate security workflows, strengthen defenses, and monitor systems in a scalable, global environment.

You will lead threat modeling, vulnerability management, and secure SDLC initiatives, with a focus on cloud and container security, IAM, and encryption. This is a 100% remote role offering USD compensation and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Security Engineering, Security Automation, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in Python scripting and building security automation workflows.
• Expertise in threat modeling, vulnerability management, and secure SDLC.
• Solid understanding of cloud and container security, IAM, and encryption.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain automated security testing and monitoring workflows to streamline threat detection and response.
• Perform threat modeling and security architecture assessments to proactively identify and mitigate infrastructure risks.
• Oversee vulnerability management processes and collaborate with engineering teams to ensure a secure software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Implement and optimize robust platform security measures, including identity management and encryption standards.
• Develop automated systems to detect, triage, and respond to security incidents and compliance anomalies in real time.
