Job summary

Cummins Inc. seeks a Senior SAP Deployment Specialist for Supply Chain focusing on SAP S/4HANA P2B and S2P. You will drive regional deployments, translate requirements into prioritized backlogs, and lead cross-functional teams across APAC.

You will engage with stakeholders to set goals, ensure quality through UAT, and support governance and data privacy processes while advancing delivery practices within an Agile framework.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 6+ years of ERP implementations and SAP S/4HANA Supply Chain domain knowledge (Plan-to-Build and S2P).
• 2–4+ years in product management or equivalent delivery lead roles, with backlog and release planning experience.
• Proven leadership to guide cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders.
• Experience with Agile, DevOps or modern software product delivery frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional deployment activities for SAP Supply Chain capabilities and edge apps across APAC, coordinating with business and tech teams.
• Translate business requirements into prioritized user stories, enablers, defects, and acceptance criteria in Agile delivery.
• Conduct user research and stakeholder interviews to define user personas and identify pain points for SAP solutions.
• Oversee UAT and ensure quality releases by validating stories against acceptance criteria and DoD.
• Partner with Business Owners, Process Leads, and Executives to set product goals and track KPIs/OKRs.
• Participate in PI planning, ceremonies, retrospectives, and Inspect & Adapt workshops to improve delivery.
• Support governance, InfoSec, data privacy, and audit readiness through documentation.

Job description

As the Senior SAP Deployment Specialist - Supply Chain (P2B) , you will define and execute the vision, strategy, and roadmap for critical SAP deployment initiatives across Cummins in Australia. With a primary focus on SAP S/4HANA Supply Chain capabilities—specifically Plan-to-Build (P2B) and Source-to-Pay (S2P) —you will bridge the gap between business processes and technical execution.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

• Regional Deployment: Lead regional deployment activities for SAP Supply Chain capabilities and edge applications across APAC, partnering with business and technology teams to drive gap resolution, change and training, testing, data conversion, and deployment readiness.
• Backlog Management & Feature Delivery: Translate business and operational requirements into prioritized user stories, enablers, defects, and acceptance criteria within an Agile framework.
• Customer & User Insights: Conduct user research, stakeholder interviews, and process analysis to identify pain points, define user personas, and design high-impact SAP solutions.
• Quality & Acceptance Testing (UAT): Validate and accept completed user stories against defined acceptance criteria and Definition of Done (DoD). Oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to guarantee quality releases.
• Stakeholder & Business Alignment: Partner closely with Business Owners, Process Leads, and Executive Sponsors to establish product goals, track KPIs/OKRs, and balance conflicting priorities.
• Agile & Delivery Ceremonies: Participate actively in Program Increment (PI) planning, synchronization ceremonies, retrospectives, and Inspect & Adapt workshops to manage dependencies and drive continuous delivery improvements with the Scrum Master and delivery team.
• Governance, InfoSec & Privacy: Support compliance processes across InfoSec, data privacy, and legal frameworks by maintaining required product documentation and audit readiness.

To be successful in this role, you will need the following:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• SAP & ERP Expertise: 6+ years of experience in ERP implementations, business systems analysis, and complex application landscapes. Strong hands‑on domain experience in SAP S/4HANA Supply Chain modules focused on Plan‑to‑Build (P2B) , with knowledge of Source‑to‑Pay (S2P) .
• Product Management Experience: 2–4+ years in product management or equivalent delivery lead roles, with a proven track record of managing product backlogs, release plans, and team metrics.
• Leadership & Influence: Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional teams, navigate complex matrixed organization structures, and influence senior business stakeholders.
• Agile Frameworks: Experience in Agile, DevOps, or modern software product delivery frameworks.
