About the Role

We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer who is passionate about delivering high-quality software, ensuring robust system performance, and driving automation best practices.

In this role, you will take ownership of end-to-end testing strategies, leveraging Python for comprehensive test automation across functional, non-functional, and white-box testing.

You will also play a key role in maintaining monitoring systems to proactively identify issues in production environments.

Test Automation & Framework Development

• Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable end-to-end (E2E) tests using Python, Playwright, and Pytest for both UI and API validation.
• Integrate automated tests into the CI / CD pipeline (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) to support continuous delivery and provide fast feedback.
• Implement and manage test data and environments to ensure reliable and repeatable test execution.

Test Planning & Strategy

• Design, document, and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define quality benchmarks and ensure test coverage for all requirements.

Functional and Non-Functional Testing

• Execute detailed automated and manual tests across multiple platforms and devices to validate functionality, usability, and performance.
• Ensure that systems meet reliability, scalability, and availability expectations, especially in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

White-box Testing

• Work closely with developers to understand internal logic and architecture, enabling more effective code-level testing.
• Utilize Python scripts to facilitate unit, integration, and service-level testing beyond traditional black-box methods.

Monitoring System Configuration

• Manage application and infrastructure monitoring tools.
• Establish alerts and dashboards to support proactive issue resolution and maintain uptime.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance or Software Testing.
• 3+ years of proficiency in Python for test automation, scripting, and framework development.
• Demonstrable experience with modern testing frameworks / tools like Playwright and Pytest for effective and reliable E2E and API testing.
• Proven experience working with and testing applications deployed in a Cloud Environment (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Solid experience setting up and maintaining test execution within CI / CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Good knowledge of SQL is a must.
• Familiarity with modern monitoring platforms (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Kibana, Datadog, or similar).
• Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Nice to have: Proficiency in performance and security testing tools (e.g., JMeter, OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite).
• Experience in testing data pipelines or data warehouse solutions, particularly Amazon Redshift.
• Familiarity with testing applications built on AI / ML platforms, such as AWS Bedrock (e.g., prompt validation, knowledge base testing, or guardrail evaluation).
