About the Role

We are seeking a QA Automation Engineer to join our team and take ownership of test automation across two SaaS products. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments, enjoys building scalable testing frameworks, and can coach teams on best practices.

You’ll play a key role in ensuring quality while enabling rapid development cycles.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and scale test automation frameworks using Playwright.
• Migrate existing test suites from Cypress to Playwright.
• Integrate testing processes into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Vercel, or similar).
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to define and enforce testing best practices.
• Work with modern frontend stacks (React, Vitest) to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Support and guide teams in adopting lightweight QA discipline and processes.
• Quickly learn and adapt to Backendless runtime models if not already familiar.

Must Haves

• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright in real-world SaaS products.
• Experience migrating from Cypress to Playwright (strong plus).
• Proficiency with CI/CD automation tools (GitHub Actions, Vercel, or similar).
• Familiarity with Vitest, React, and modern frontend development.
• Comfort with Backendless or willingness to quickly learn.
• Ability to coach teams on testing best practices.
• Strong communication skills to bridge QA, product, and engineering needs.
