Jobtailor is seeking a QA engineer to ensure the quality of critical retail solutions including sales channels, order management, POS, inventory, logistics, and omnichannel operations. The role involves planning and executing tests, developing test automation for Web, Mobile, and APIs, and validating integrations across microservices in a hybrid Porto Alegre setup.

Ideal candidates have strong experience in manual and automated testing, familiarity with Playwright, REST API testing, SQL

• Ensure the quality of critical retail solutions such as sales channels, order management, POS, inventory, logistics, omnichannel operations, and system integrations.
• Plan, execute and automate functional, integration, regression and end-to-end tests.
• Develop and maintain test automation for Web, Mobile and APIs.
• Define test strategies, acceptance criteria and risk analyses.
• Validate integrations, transactional flows and database data.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, participating in refinements, plannings, reviews and retrospectives.
• Contribute to continuous quality improvement by supporting CI/CD practices, Shift Left testing and Quality Gates.

Requirements

• Availability to work in a hybrid format in Porto Alegre - RS
• Strong experience with manual and automated testing.
• Web automation using Playwright.
• REST/RESTful API testing and contract validation (JSON/Swagger).
• Experience with JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle and MongoDB), including writing and analyzing SQL queries.
• Experience with microservices, system integrations and distributed architectures.
• Experience with Git and continuous integration pipelines (CI/CD).
• Involvement in defining test strategies and software quality processes.
• Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum and/or Kanban).
