KSTACK in Brazil is seeking a Senior Python Engineer to join our ML/AI team. You will shape intelligent products, designing scalable cloud-native back-end services and APIs that bring AI capabilities to real users.

You’ll own the full development lifecycle from prototyping to production on Google Cloud Platform, collaborating with data scientists and product owners in an agile environment.

Qualificações

• 4–6+ years of professional back-end or full-stack software engineering experience with a strong focus on Python.
• Proven experience designing and deploying cloud-native applications; GCP preferred, AWS/Azure considered.
• Hands-on experience building resilient, event-driven microservices and RESTful/gRPC APIs.
• Solid understanding of containerization with Docker, orchestration with Kubernetes, and serverless architectures.
• Strong experience applying SOLID design principles.

Responsabilidades

About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior Python Engineer to help shape the next generation of intelligent products as part of our ML/AI team.

In this role, you’ll design and build the systems that bring machine learning and generative AI out of the lab and into the hands of real users—from scalable, cloud-native back-end services to the APIs and interfaces that make AI-powered capabilities accessible.

This is not a research-only role. You’ll own the full development lifecycle: prototyping new ideas, architecting production-grade services on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and shipping features that customers interact with every day.

What You’ll Do

Build & Ship AI-Powered Products

• Design, develop, and deploy production-grade ML/AI services end-to-end, from model integration to client-facing APIs.
• Build event-driven, real-time architectures using Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, Kubernetes, Pub/Sub, and similar GCP services.
• Integrate transformer-based models and Large Language Models (LLMs) into scalable inference pipelines, including prompt engineering, output formatting, and graceful error handling.
• Build clean, reliable, well-tested Python back-end services that power seamless full-stack experiences.

Own the Architecture

• Lead technical design sessions and whiteboarding exercises, translating product requirements into robust, scalable architectures.
• Drive projects from concept through production with minimal oversight, setting a high bar for both execution and engineering quality.
• Champion engineering best practices, including CI/CD, observability, automated testing, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

Collaborate & Communicate

• Partner closely with engineers, Product Owners, and Data Scientists to align priorities and deliver solutions iteratively.
• Translate complex AI concepts into clear, actionable technical plans that non-technical stakeholders can understand and support.
• Actively participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and knowledge-sharing sessions.

What You Bring

Must-Have Qualifications

• 4-6+ years of professional back-end or full-stack software engineering experience, with a strong focus on Python.
• Proven experience designing and deploying cloud-native applications; GCP is strongly preferred, although AWS and Azure experience will also be considered.
• Hands-on experience building resilient, event-driven microservices and RESTful/gRPC APIs.
• Solid understanding of containerization with Docker, orchestration with Kubernetes, and serverless architectures.
• Strong experience applying SOLID design principles.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in cross-functional, Agile teams.
• Comfortable using AI-powered tools to accelerate software development and improve engineering productivity.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Experience deploying and serving machine learning models or LLMs in production environments.
• Familiarity with prompt engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), vector search, or fine-tuning workflows.
• Exposure to modern AI orchestration frameworks such as LangChain, Google ADK, or similar technologies.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools, such as Terraform or Pulumi, as well as CI/CD pipelines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
