Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Programmer to join the Software and Architecture organization in Subsea Production Systems at NOV Subsea Production Systems (SPS). This role is based in our newly established office in Brazil, supporting the production facility in Acu. The rest of the team is based in Brøndby, Copenhagen area, Denmark.

About the role

As a Senior Programmer, you will develop and maintain in‑house software applications that impact the work of Subsea Production Systems departments. You will work with:

• Internal stand‑alone applications supporting different areas in Subsea Production Systems.
• SQL databases.
• Reducing complexity in current and future code and architecture.
• Technology projects across Subsea Production Systems.
• Smart teamwork and AI‑applications/integrations.
• Close end‑user collaboration.

What you need to have

• Solid experience writing C# full‑time.
• Experience working with SQL databases.
• Full‑stack engineering background.
• Experienced GitHub and Copilot user.
• B.Sc./M.Sc. in Engineering, Computer Science or similar, or autodidact in software development.
• Experience with WPF, Entity Framework Core and MVVM Toolkit.
• Knowledge of packaging and deploying containerized applications, preferably using Kubernetes.
• Experience working in agile setups and product development environments.
• Advanced English skills.
