About the Role

We are hiring a Senior PMM to lead the most visible and strategically important research at Fundraise Up. This role sits at the center of our company's growth bets. It is the function executives will rely on for clear, data‑backed answers about where Fundraise Up should go next and whether we are truly ready to win there.

Key Responsibilities
Market Research & New Market Entry
  • Lead TAM, SAM, and SOM analysis for new geographies, verticals, and segments.
  • Research donation cycles, giving seasonality, and giving practices across certain verticals.
  • Build and validate persona‑level insights (jobs to be done, motivations, challenges, frictions).
  • Develop executive‑ready business cases that clearly show the size of the opportunity, the risks, and the requirements for entry.
Product‑Market Fit Analysis
  • Own the framework for evaluating product‑market fit in new markets and verticals.
  • Quantify demand and assign measurable value to product gaps.
  • Partner with Product leadership to prioritize roadmap investments based on validated opportunity size and revenue potential.
  • Deliver objective, candid assessments of Fundraise Up's readiness to compete, even when the answer is "not yet."
Competitive Intelligence
  • Build and own the competitive intelligence program at Fundraise Up.
  • Track, analyze, and report on competitor features, pricing, positioning, and GTM strategies.
  • Create battlecards, win/loss patterns, and competitive updates for Sales, Product, and Leadership.
  • Partner with Sales to sharpen competitive positioning and objection handling in the field.
Executive Partnership
  • Act as a trusted advisor to executives on market entry and competition.
  • Provide assessments that are strategic, data‑backed, and unflinchingly honest.
  • Influence company bets and roadmap priorities with clear, fact‑driven insights.

  • 6-10+ years in Product Marketing, Market Research, Strategy, or related experience.
  • Proven success with market sizing (TAM/SAM/SOM) and product‑market fit analysis.
  • Expertise in persona development, JTBD, donation cycle research, and competitive analysis.
  • Strong track record of executive‑level communication and influence.
  • Analytical, structured, and rigorous.
  • Comfortable operating in a high‑growth, fast‑paced environment.
