Referment is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to support and evolve a global, highly available network for a major financial-services client. You will blend hands-on operations with technical leadership across LAN, WAN, wireless, cloud networking and security to keep connectivity stable and resilient.

The role covers design, capacity planning, incident resolution and automation using Terraform, Ansible or Python.

Qualificações

• 5+ years in network engineering with senior stakeholders.
• 3+ years AWS/Azure infra and enterprise firewall experience.
• Strong knowledge of BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, MPLS, VRF, QoS, PBR, VSS, HSRP, STP and Cisco Nexus.
• Experience with disaster recovery, change management, monitoring and incident response.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, design and support LAN, WAN, wireless and related network infrastructure.
• Lead technical troubleshooting, root-cause analysis and resolution of incidents and change requests within agreed service levels.
• Design secure, integrated and fault-tolerant solutions and make recommendations on network standards and operating procedures.
• Monitor performance, plan capacity and deliver complex migrations, upgrades and new capabilities.
• Apply networking and security principles across AWS and Azure environments.
• Automate repeatable network and deployment tasks using Terraform, Ansible or Python.
• Maintain accurate diagrams and technical documentation.

Referment is working with a global financial-services business seeking a Senior Network Engineer to support and develop a highly available global network environment.

You will combine hands-on operations with technical leadership across LAN, WAN, wireless, cloud networking and security. The role covers design, capacity planning, incident resolution, complex upgrades and automation, working to keep business-critical connectivity stable and resilient.

The Role

• Plan, design and support LAN, WAN, wireless and related network infrastructure.
• Lead technical troubleshooting, root-cause analysis and resolution of incidents and change requests within agreed service levels.
• Design secure, integrated and fault-tolerant solutions and make recommendations on network standards and operating procedures.
• Monitor performance, plan capacity and deliver complex migrations, upgrades and new capabilities.

What We're Looking For

• At least five years of network-engineering support and experience working with senior technical stakeholders.
• At least three years working with AWS and Azure infrastructure, enterprise firewalls and F5 load balancers.
• Strong knowledge of BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, MPLS, VRF, QoS, PBR, VSS, HSRP, STP and Cisco Nexus.
• Experience configuring Cisco ISE and supporting enterprise wireless networks.
• Solid grounding in disaster recovery, change management, monitoring and incident response.

SD-WAN, Cisco Meraki, DNS management and advanced Cisco Nexus experience would be useful. This could suit a senior network operations engineer who can lead technically while remaining close to implementation and support.
