What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Define and drive the multi-year technical roadmap for personalization and selection systems
- Build and scale a team of engineers and ML practitioners to deliver infrastructure and ML models
- Launch ML-powered personalization models to enhance borrower experiences
- Lead the development of experimentation platforms to accelerate model iteration and feature evaluation
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Data Science, and ML leadership to align on outcomes
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 10+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 4 years in people management roles
- Hands‑on experience with ML systems, personalization engines, or experimentation infrastructure
- Deep technical understanding of machine learning fundamentals and data pipelines
- Proven ability to hire and grow high‑performing ML and engineering talent
- Strong strategic thinking with effective communication skills and cross‑functional leadership experience
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with large‑scale ML serving systems or ranking/recommender systems
- Familiarity with experimentation methodologies such as multi‑armed bandits
- Experience working with MLOps, data engineering, and applied ML research teams
- Awareness of ethical AI topics including fairness and explainability
- Demonstrated success in deploying ML systems in production environments
