Your Tasks

In this role, you will support Mutares’ invested portfolio companies by identifying and implementing business improvement opportunities, driving transformation strategies, and tracking results in collaboration with local management teams.

  • Conduct bottom‑up, detailed business analysis to surface risks and opportunities after acquisition.
  • Collaborate with local teams to achieve targeted improvements, ensuring transparency through tracking and reporting and fostering a continuous‑improvement culture.
  • Perform overarching strategy analysis across the Mutares portfolio to identify potential synergies.
  • Support the M&A team with due‑diligence and improvement‑potential assessment to structure deal cases.
Your Profile
  • Degree in economics, finance engineering or a related field with outstanding results.
  • Minimum 6years experience in a Commercial Excellence role (industry or consulting), with at least 1year in consulting.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills combined with an entrepreneurial mindset and hands‑on approach.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Business fluency in German and English, with clear, concise communication.
  • Willingness to travel up to 4 days per week and work in an international environment.
