  • Salary: $110,240 - $153,668 per year

What You Will Do

The Senior Labor Relations Partner serves as project lead in union contract negotiations, strike preparation, strike management, and the mitigation of other work actions. The Senior Labor Relations Partner develops and executes the labor relations strategy to ensure ministry and market alignment with the organization's philosophy, strategies, policies, and practices.

  • Provide leadership and guidance to ministry leaders in all areas of labor relations.
  • Serve as part of the associate relations/labor relations team to proactively manage labor relations issues throughout all Ascension Ministries and affiliations.
  • Develop and conduct leadership training to include labor relations, managing effective associate relations, managing in a union environment and positive leadership skills.
  • Remain up to date on nationwide trends in labor relations, National Labor Relations Board case law and developments that affect healthcare labor and associate relations strategy.
  • Serve as front line labor relations contact for identified collective bargaining agreements to include bargaining preparation, contract negotiations, grievance and arbitration administration, attendance at labor/management meetings and interfacing with designated union representatives.
  • Partner with other to effectively manage ministry labor relations issues.
What You Will Need

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with1 year of experience OR 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • 2 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
