Job summary

Casado is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join a US-based e-commerce catalog platform modernization effort. You will work across the stack—Java/Spring Boot on the backend, React on the frontend, APIs, databases, and CI/CD in a globally distributed team.

You’ll own end-to-end features, contribute to platform modernization, write tests, and collaborate with Product, Design, and engineers in the US, China, and Latin America.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software development experience.
• Strong backend in Java with Spring Boot.
• Solid React experience for a true full-stack role.
• Experience designing REST APIs and microservices.
• Proficient in PostgreSQL or MS SQL Server.
• Experience with CI/CD and automated testing.
• Led at least one platform modernization project.
• Daily use of AI coding tools in production work.
• English fluency for daily distributed-team communication.

Job description

We're looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join a team working on a large E-commerce product catalog platform for a US company. The platform is business-critical, has a long history, and is now being modernized step by step. You'll work across the whole stack: backend services, APIs, databases and React UI.

What you'll do

• Build and ship catalog features end to end, from data model and API to UI.
• Take part in the platform modernization: moving legacy parts to a modern architecture incrementally.
• Write and maintain automated tests.
• Work closely with Product and Design, and with engineers in the US, China and Latin America.

What we're looking for

• 7+ years of software development
• Strong backend in Java (Spring Boot)
• Solid React experience, this is a real full-stack role, not backend-only or frontend-only
• REST APIs, microservices, PostgreSQL or MS SQL Server
• CI/CD and automated testing as part of your normal workflow
• At least one platform migration or modernization where you played a key role
• Daily use of AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot) in real production work: for coding, tests, code review or documentation. We'll ask about specific examples, including where the tools got it wrong
• English that's comfortable for daily communication with a distributed team

Nice to have

• E-commerce, product catalogs or high-traffic consumer apps
• Experience with both .NET/SQL Server and a modern stack (Java, Go, Python, Postgres)
• AWS or Azure
