Job Purpose
Serve as the primary technical lead for the evolution of ExitLag’s systems, ensuring reliability, scalability, and operational sustainability. The Senior Developer is responsible for making complex technical decisions, continuously evolving the architecture, and ensuring the technical health of the systems with a focus on business impact and long‑term sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
- Development & Architecture
- Work closely with the development team and the Tech Lead to conceptualize and design new technical solutions.
- Develop new projects and features with a focus on scalability and performance.
- Maintain and enhance current systems by implementing continuous improvements.
- Seek structural and architectural optimizations in existing systems.
- Quality & Best Practices
- Create unit tests for new features and, whenever possible, for legacy systems.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to quality standards and architectural best practices.
- Ensure standards for code versioning, organization, and documentation.
- Take a proactive approach to identifying technical risks and technical debt.
- Collaboration and Technical Leadership
- Share knowledge with the team, promoting collective technical growth.
- Support other developers by serving as a reference within the team, contributing to architectural decisions and best practices.
- Collaborate with Product and other departments to translate business requirements into viable technical solutions.
Technical Requirements
- Solid experience with full‑stack development.
- Experience with the following stack: PHP, Node.js, Vue 3, TypeScript.
- Experience with frameworks such as Nuxt and NestJS.
- Proficiency in software architecture and best practices.
- Experience with unit testing and best practices for code coverage.
- Experience with code review and technical governance.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and service integration.
- Knowledge of relational and/or non‑relational databases.
- Experience with version control (Git).
- Familiarity with CI/CD practices and production environments.
- Technical English for documentation (communication in a global environment is desirable).
