AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to build and maintain features in a large, modern Angular application, with opportunities to contribute to backend work. You will collaborate with UX and product teams to translate requirements into accessible features and participate in code reviews and AI-assisted development workflows.

You will work across multiple product initiatives with an emphasis on frontend quality, architecture, and performance, while occasionally engaging with backend

Qualificações

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong Angular experience, modern Angular, not AngularJS.
• Frontend engineering skills on production web apps.
• Solid understanding of frontend architecture and maintainable code.
• Basic understanding of web accessibility.
• Experience collaborating in engineering teams.
• Comfortable with AI-assisted development tools.
• Ability to work with significant overlap with US time zones.

• Contribute to backend work when needed, working with the existing engineering team.
• Participate in code reviews and AI-assisted development workflows.
• Work with AI development tools, primarily Claude.
• Collaborate with engineers across multiple product initiatives.

MUST HAVES

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong Angular experience, specifically modern Angular rather than AngularJS.
• Strong frontend engineering skills and experience working on production web applications.
• Solid understanding of frontend architecture and maintainable code.
• Basic, practical understanding of web accessibility.
• Experience working effectively in a collaborative engineering team.
• Comfortable using AI-assisted development tools.
• Ability to work with significant overlap with US time zones.

NICE TO HAVES

• Strong hands-on accessibility experience, including accessibility testing and remediation.
• Experience with Angular Material or similar UI component libraries.
• Experience with frontend build, bundling, or related tooling.
• Experience with PHP/Laravel or Python.
• Experience working with GCP.
• Experience with AI-native / agentic software development workflows.
• SaaS or EdTech experience.
