Agile Engine in Campinas, Brazil seeks a Senior Frontend Engineer to build and maintain features in a large, modern Angular application, with opportunities to contribute to backend work.

You will influence frontend architecture, collaborate with UX and product teams, and ensure accessible, high-quality web experiences while engaging in AI-assisted development workflows.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong Angular experience, specifically modern Angular.
• Strong frontend engineering skills for production web apps.
• Solid understanding of frontend architecture and maintainable code.
• Basic, practical understanding of web accessibility.
• Experience collaborating effectively in engineering teams.
• Comfortable using AI-assisted development tools.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to backend work when needed, working with the existing engineering team.
• Participate in code reviews and AI-assisted development workflows.
• Work with AI development tools, primarily Claude.
• Collaborate with engineers across multiple product initiatives.

MUST HAVES

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• StrongAngularexperience, specifically modern Angular rather than Angular JS.
• Strong frontend engineering skills and experience working on production web applications.
• Solid understanding offrontend architecture and maintainable code.
• Basic, practical understanding ofweb accessibility.
• Experience working effectively in a collaborative engineering team.
• Comfortable usingAI-assisted development tools.
• Ability to work with significant overlap with US time zones.

NICE TO HAVES

• Strong hands‐on accessibility experience, including accessibility testing and remediation.
• Experience with Angular Material or similar UI component libraries.
• Experience with frontend build, bundling, or related tooling.
• Experience with PHP/Laravel or Python.
• Experience working with GCP.
