Summary

As a Front End Engineer you will be responsible for translating design concepts into functional, high‑quality code, optimizing performance and ensuring scalability. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams including Product Design and Backend Engineers to create responsive, high-performance and visually stunning web applications. Your work will ensure that Deel's customers have an intuitive, seamless and engaging experience across all platforms.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a cross‑functional team collaborating with Backend Engineers, Product Teams, Designers and QA to build exceptional products.
• Participate in the entire product development lifecycle from discovery and planning to deployment, contributing valuable insights at each stage.
• Collaborate closely with team members to develop robust new features, APIs and continuously improve Deel's products, ensuring high quality and performance.
• Actively troubleshoot, identify and resolve bugs to maintain Deel's fast‑paced development standards (Deel Speed).
• Ensure a seamless white‑glove user experience for our customers across all front‑end touchpoints.

Qualifications

• 7 years of experience as a frontend or full‑stack developer in the technologies listed below.
• Excellent JavaScript knowledge in front‑end libraries, especially with class and functional components and hooks.
• Mastery of JavaScript syntax and front‑end essentials such as HTML and CSS.
• Proficiency with at least one other server‑side language such as Python, Ruby, Java, PHP.
• Strong experience with state‑management packages such as MobX and Redux.
• Deep understanding of designing, writing, running, maintaining and debugging applications across the whole stack in one or more of the technologies listed above.
