A CI&T está contratando um Senior Data Engineer para atuação no período presencial em Campinas, SP. O profissional ficará responsável por desenvolver pipelines de dados, integrar múltiplas fontes e colaborar com equipes de negócios para compreender requisitos de dados.

É exigida experiência com AWS (S3, Glue, Lambda, Iceberg, Spark, Athena) e habilidades avançadas em Python e SQL. Conhecimento de DataOps e plataformas em nuvem complementam o perfil.

Qualificações

• Experiência comprovada em construção de pipelines de dados em AWS.
• Conhecimento de S3, Glue, Lambda, Iceberg, Spark e Athena.
• Proficiência em Python e SQL para processamento e transformação de dados.
• Compreensão de ETL/ELT, data warehousing e processamento distribuído.
• Experiência com práticas modernas de DataOps (controle de versão, testes de dados, CI/CD).
• Familiaridade com várias plataformas em nuvem (AWS/Azure/GCP) e serviços de dados associados.
• Nível avançado de inglês.

Responsabilidades

• Desenvolver e manter pipelines de dados;
• Integrar dados de diversas fontes (APIs, bancos de dados relacionais, arquivos, etc.);
• Colaborar com equipes de negócios e analytics para entender requisitos de dados;
• Assegurar qualidade, confiabilidade, segurança e governança dos dados ingeridos;
• Seguir práticas de DataOps como versionamento de código, testes de dados e CI/CD;
• Documentar processos e melhores práticas em engenharia de dados.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain data pipelines;


• Integrate data from various sources (APIs, relational databases, files, etc.);


• Collaborate with business and analytics teams to understand data requirements;


• Ensure quality, reliability, security and governance of the ingested data;


• Follow modern DataOps practices such as Code Versioning, Data Tests and CI/CD


• Document processes and best practices in data engineering.

Must-have:

• Availability to work 5x/week at our Campinas office.


• Proven experience in building data pipelines in AWS , leveraging S3, Glue, Lambda, Iceberg tables, Spark and Athena.


• Strong programming skills in Python and SQL for data processing and transformation;


• Understanding of ETL/ELT frameworks, data warehousing, and distributed data processing;


• Experience with modern DataOps practices.


• Familiarity with a variety of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and related data services).


• Advanced English level.

Nice-to-have:

• Experience with Databricks, Lakehouse and Unity Catalog.


• Experience with data contracts, schema evolution and ensuring compatibility across services.


• Expertise in data quality frameworks (e.g., Great Expectations, Soda, dbt tests, or custom-built solutions).


• Familiarity with DBT, Atlan and Soda.


• Integration with Power BI


• Experience with Data Streaming. #LI-GP1
