Lever, Inc. is seeking a Senior Cloud Solutions Architect (AWS Focus) based in Brazil for a primarily remote, contractor engagement. You will own the delivery of complex AWS engagements from discovery to go-live, designing secure, scalable architectures and leading migrations.

You will work with engineering, PMs, and executives, coordinating Kubernetes, AI/ML integration, and enterprise migrations, while presenting technical decisions in English and Portuguese.

Qualificações

• 8+ years in IT infra/architecture with 5+ years focused on AWS.
• Experience in consulting or principal-level roles owning complex engagements.
• Expert knowledge of EC2, S3, VPC, Lambda, IAM.
• Fluent English and Portuguese in written and spoken form.
• Experience with migrations, Kubernetes, and AI/ML integration.

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Cloud Solutions Architect / Principal Consultant (AWS Focus) based in Brazil.

This is a senior cloud consulting opportunity focused on owning the technical delivery of complex AWS engagements from initial discovery through go-live. You will design secure, scalable, and resilient cloud architectures while leading large-scale migrations and modernization initiatives. The role combines deep hands-on architecture expertise with direct client-facing leadership and strategic advisory responsibilities. You will work closely with engineering teams, project managers, and executive stakeholders, translating business requirements into actionable technical roadmaps. The scope also includes Kubernetes and container adoption, advanced networking, and the integration of AI/ML and Generative AI into enterprise environments. Strong communication skills and the ability to present complex technical decisions in both English and Portuguese are essential to success in this role.

Accountabilities

• Design and implement complex, secure, scalable AWS architectures aligned with the AWS Well-Architected Framework, embedding security throughout every architectural layer.
• Translate business requirements into technical strategies, architectural decisions, and clear implementation roadmaps.
• Lead end-to-end on-premises-to-cloud and cloud-to-cloud migrations, using AWS Migration Service (MGN), Database Migration Service (DMS), and appropriate strategies for complex datasets and legacy system integrations.
• Drive adoption of Kubernetes, Amazon EKS, containers, and microservices architectures as part of cloud modernization initiatives.
• Advise clients on the use of AI/ML services, including Amazon Bedrock and SageMaker, and support the integration of Generative AI capabilities into enterprise architectures and workflows.
• Prepare Environment Assessments, Gap Analyses, Technical Roadmaps, and Project Handovers tailored to both technical teams and executive audiences.
• Maintain clear communication with customer stakeholders regarding delivery progress, risks, dependencies, and milestones while collaborating with Project Managers to keep engagements aligned with timelines, budgets, and scope.
• Provide technical leadership through architecture and code reviews, mentor and guide engineers, and troubleshoot complex infrastructure and application issues directly through AWS consoles or CLI when required.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and/or architecture, including at least 5 years focused on AWS.
• Proven experience working in a consulting or Principal-level position, with ownership of complex technical engagements.
• Expert knowledge of core AWS services, including EC2, S3, VPC, Lambda, and IAM.
• Strong expertise in advanced AWS networking, including Direct Connect and Transit Gateway.
• Deep hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and Amazon EKS.
• Strong Linux/Unix administration skills and experience with RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB, and NoSQL databases.
• Demonstrated experience leading large-scale migrations involving complex datasets, legacy systems, and enterprise integrations.
• Familiarity with the AWS AI/ML ecosystem, including experience integrating Generative AI into enterprise architectures.
• Strong ability to translate complex technical concepts and architectural decisions into clear recommendations for non-technical stakeholders and C-level executives.
• Fluent English and Portuguese, both written and verbal, with confidence presenting technical strategies and recommendations to executive audiences in both languages.
• Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK is a plus.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing is a plus.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional and/or AWS Certified Security – Specialty certification is a plus.
