BairesDev, a global tech company, is seeking a Senior C++ & Impala Engineer to optimize distributed query engines and lead benchmarking efforts. You will work across teams to push performance, reliability and scalability in a fully remote setting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Systems Performance, or related roles.
• Strong C/C++ programming and performance tuning expertise.
• Experience with Impala or distributed query engines.
• Deep understanding of CPU architecture and systems-level optimization.
• Experience defining benchmarking strategies at scale and leading cross-team optimization efforts.
• Advanced English proficiency.

Senior C++ & Impala Engineer at BairesDev

As a Senior C++ & Impala Engineer, you will drive the performance optimization of our distributed query engines. You will lead benchmarking initiatives at scale and collaborate with cross-functional teams to eliminate system bottlenecks.

What You'll Do
