adMixt is hiring a Senior Backend Developer with deep, hands‑on experience integrating Google Ads API. This is a senior‑level role for someone who has spent years working directly with Google Ads and eCommerce systems to build robust, scalable backend advertising solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain API integrations with Google Ads
• Work with related APIs such as Shopify, Google Analytics, and attribution platforms
• Build data pipelines that enable reporting, attribution, and optimization across channels
• Collaborate with analysts and media buyers to turn business needs into backend systems
• Write clean, well‑documented, maintainable code and implement error handling and logging
• Maintain and optimize legacy PHP systems, with potential to expand into other technologies

Requirements

• Strong experience working with the Google Ads API and similar platforms
• Expertise in PHP (especially procedural codebases); experience with other backend languages is a plus
• 5+ years backend development experience, ideally with a focus on marketing and analytics integrations
• Familiarity with Shopify, Google Analytics, and eCommerce data flows
• Ability to write reliable, efficient API clients and manage authentication / token flows
• Strong debugging, documentation, and version control practices
