Position Title: Senior Associate, Legal Strategy & Operations

About the role: S&P Global Energy (SPGE) is seeking a dynamic, collaborative, and knowledgeable candidate to fill the role of Senior Associate in the Legal Strategy & Operations Team, based in Brazil or Mexico.

Reporting to the Head of Legal, Strategy & Operations, this individual will provide valuable support to various aspects of the Team’s operational work, and will assist our user community by providing guidance on the tools used by the legal department such as Ironclad CLM, DocuSign eSignature, MS Office, SharePoint, and Teams.

The selected candidate should strive for continuous service improvement and provide efficient and effective support to end users. They should display sound judgment when making decisions and demonstrate initiative when a situation calls for action. The candidate will help to drive adoption of our operational systems and processes, while providing world‑class support and service to our user community.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage legal systems such as Ironclad CLM, DocuSign eSignature, Appian, Microsoft tools such as SharePoint, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, AI tools etc.
  • Assist with the knowledge management repository, including filing and document storage.
  • Provide operations support to a global cross‑functional user community, respond to incoming service requests in a timely manner.
  • Analyse and resolve problems associated with the CLM including agreement generation, workflow routing, and digital signature requests.
  • Project management of allocated projects, including IT projects to drive implementation.
  • Assist users with Ironclad reporting functionality, develop internal and customer reports.
  • Perform agreement governance, inventory, and manage controls.
  • Assist in development, documentation, and implementation of standard operating procedures and customer service guidelines.
  • Document all actions performed to resolve issues, keep knowledge base of known issues, and develop solutions.
  • Manage legal team meeting schedules, agenda and minutes.
  • Provide training as needed to SPGE's Legal and Business teams on the CLM and other technology and AI tools.
  • Assist the legal team in designing PowerPoint presentation decks.
  • Manage and monitor legal team general mailboxes and other matters as assigned by the Head of Legal, Strategy & Operations.
What We’re Looking For:
Basic Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Knowledge of Ironclad CLM, DocuSign eSignature, Appian, and Salesforce.
  • Good technical skills and is highly proficient in Microsoft Applications such as Office Suite, SharePoint, Teams and AI tools.
  • Good understanding of content life cycle management tools, task automation workflows, document generation and other information management tools.
  • Strong stakeholder management and business relationship skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work flexibly in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment and effectively prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Strong team player who works well with others but is also able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proven track record of using automation tools and development expertise to create and deliver time and effort saving efficiencies in support of End User Services.
