What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Assist in completing the annual SOX scoping and risk assessment, including quarterly refreshes
• Coordinate controls walkthroughs and testing, leading deficiency evaluations/reporting
• Identify opportunities for optimization and automation within the SOX program
• Monitor IT SOX testing and assist in enhancing documentation, such as Risk and Control Matrices
• Work with external auditors to ensure the SOX Program meets their requirements

What is Required (Qualifications)

• Completed Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Information Systems Management, or Finance
• Minimum of 5 years of IT SOX-related experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
• CISA certification or equivalent (e.g., CPA/CIA or other relevant certification)
• In-depth knowledge of SOX, COSO Framework, and IT general/application controls
• Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize workloads and meet deadlines

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Public Accounting Firm IT Audit experience
• Working knowledge of US GAAP
• Experience in FinTech, banking, or financial services focused on SOX and ICFR controls
