About the Senior Account Executive Role

The Senior Account Executive is responsible for driving new customer acquisition within an assigned territory. This is a high-impact, field-based role for an experienced sales professional who thrives in prospecting, relationship-building, and closing complex service agreements.

You’ll generate pipeline opportunities, follow up on inbound inquiries in territory from marketing, assist with the management of partner relationships in territory, guide prospects through the sales process, and ensure a smooth handoff to the account management team once new customers are successfully launched.

This role is designed for individuals who are confident operating autonomously, collaborating cross-functionally, and representing Kooner FMS as a trusted partner to fleet operators.

This is a remote opportunity and requires the candidate to reside on the West Coast.

What You’ll Do

Prospecting and Pipeline Development

  • Identify and engage new fleet prospects across your assigned territory.
  • Build a robust pipeline through outbound outreach, referrals, industry networking, and market intelligence.
  • Qualify opportunities, uncover business needs, and position Kooner’s solutions to address fleet challenges.

Sales Execution

  • Conduct face-to-face and virtual meetings with fleet decision-makers.
  • Develop customized proposals and negotiate agreements that balance customer value with profitability.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from first contact through contract signature and successful service launch.

Collaboration and Transition

  • Partner with internal operations and account management to ensure a seamless customer onboarding experience.
  • Provide visibility to leadership on pipeline health, revenue forecasts, and competitive activity.
  • Represent Kooner FMS at industry events, tradeshows, and customer meetings.

Market Development

  • Analyze territory performance, trends, and customer feedback to refine go-to-market strategies.
  • Contribute to regional growth plans and participate in quarterly business reviews.
What You’ll Bring
  • Minimum 3+ years of outside sales experience, ideally within the fleet, transportation, or logistics industries.
  • Proven success acquiring new customers and exceeding revenue goals.
  • Strong understanding of B2B sales processes, from lead generation to closing and post-sale transition.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Highly motivated self-starter who excels in remote, field-based environments.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50–75% within your assigned territory.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
