Job summary

Raise is seeking a SAP SOX Audit Analyst in Brazil (remote). You will act as the main liaison between ERP Platforms, Internal Audit, and external auditors for SAP SOX work, manage audit requests, and ensure timely, complete evidence for audits.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree with 3–5 years of experience, fluent English, and strong coordination. Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and SAP-related tools is essential. Brazilians working in Brazil business hours expected.

Responsibilities

• Manage SOX audit request lists from the external auditor and Internal Audit.

• Follow up with other teams to collect evidence and verify completeness.
• Pull data and screenshots from SAP using read-only access.
• Negotiate more time with auditors with support from a control advisor.
• Keep ERP stakeholders and project managers aligned with status updates.
• Represent the ERP Platforms team in audit walkthroughs and meetings.
• Support evidence for IT General Controls (ITGCs) such as user access and change management.
• Keep SOX procedures, work instructions, and evidence standards up to date.
• Suggest ways to cut manual work in evidence gathering and reporting.

SAP SOX Audit Analyst

• Location: Brazil | Remote

Raise is currently hiring a contract team member on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader.

Overview

Keep SAP audit-ready all year. As the SAP SOX Audit Analyst, you are the main contact between the ERP Platforms team, Internal Audit, and external auditors for Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) work on SAP. You manage audit requests, check evidence before it goes out, and help teams close control gaps. Success means complete, on-time evidence and no surprises at audit time.

Responsibilities

• Manage SOX audit request lists from the external auditor and Internal Audit. Most are due in four to five days, some in one to two.
• Decide the scope and owner of each request and route it to the right team.
• Follow up with other teams to collect evidence, then check it is complete and accurate before it goes out.
• Pull data and screenshots from SAP using read-only access.
• Negotiate more time with auditors when a deadline can't be met, with support from a control’s advisor.
• Keep ERP (enterprise resource planning) stakeholders and project managers aligned and share regular status updates.
• Represent the ERP Platforms team in audit walkthroughs and meetings.
• Support evidence for IT General Controls (ITGCs), such as user access, privileged access, segregation of duties (SoD), and change management.
• Keep SOX procedures, work instructions, and evidence standards up to date.
• Suggest ways to cut manual work in evidence gathering and reporting.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and three to five years of relevant experience.
• Advanced or fluent English, written and spoken
• Strong coordination skills. You track many requests across many teams and meet short deadlines.
• Confidence to negotiate and influence, including with auditors and senior leaders
• Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills for tracking and reporting
• Must be based in Brazil and can work in Brazil business hours

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting SOX audits, ITGCs, or IT compliance programs
• A background in SAP security or SAP GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) Access Control
• Basic SAP skills, such as pulling reports and data with read access
• SAP ChaRM (Change Request Management), including ChaRM for RISE
• ServiceNow for incidents, changes, requests, and tasks
• Knowledge of access controls such as privileged access, SoD, and role-based access control (RBAC)
• Familiarity with Microsoft Entra ID or SAP identity access governance tools
