Appnovation Technologies is seeking an experienced Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Developer to join a consulting-driven team. You will design and implement email campaigns, automations, and dynamic content across SFMC, leveraging AMPscript and SSJS, while ensuring deliverability and compliance.

The role emphasizes collaboration, code quality, and guiding junior developers within a fast-paced digital consultancy. Prior experience with Data Cloud and REST/SOAP integrations is valued.

Qualificações

• 6+ years of hands-on SFMC development.
• Experience with SFMC Email Builder, Content Builder, Journey Builder, and AMPscript.
• Strong HTML/CSS for email development and responsive design.
• Familiarity with drag-and-drop components and content blocks.
• Diagnose and fix email rendering issues and bugs.
• QA processes and troubleshooting across SFMC instances.
• Understanding of deliverability, privacy/consent frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA, CAN-SPAM).
• Experience with email domain setup and deliverability best practices.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of agile methodologies.
• Proficiency in SSJS, SQL & Data Extensions, and REST/SOAP API integrations.
• Experience with Salesforce Data Cloud or other CDPs.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engineer, you will join a highly motivated and experienced team, building web and mobile applications as well as providing strategy consulting for Appnovation’s clients. We are looking for people who can bring a strong, consulting and solution-focused mindset and contribute to architectural decisions, best practices and get things done. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Automation Studio, data elements, journeys, campaigns, email domain setup, email deliverability best practices, consent management, and email content creation. Personalization experience is desired.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 6+ years of hands-on SFMC development
• Hands-on experience with SFMC Email Builder, Content Builder, Journey Builder, and AMPscript.
• Strong understanding of HTML/CSS for email development and responsive design.
• Familiarity with customizing drag-and-drop components and managing content blocks.
• Ability to diagnose and fix email rendering issues and bugs.
• Experience with QA processes and troubleshooting across multiple SFMC instances.
• Deep understanding of email marketing best practices, deliverability, and personalization strategies.
• Strong grasp of data privacy/consent frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA, CAN-SPAM).
• Experience with email domain setup and deliverability best practices.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage and customize emails using SFMC Email Builder, Content Builder, and Journey Builder.
• Build and maintain automations using Automation Studio.
• Implement dynamic content using AMPscript, HTML/CSS, and responsive design principles.
• Maintain and enhance the Email Design System, including reusable components and content blocks.
• Provide campaign support and triage for the SFMC engineering team.
• Troubleshoot and resolve email or content block issues in collaboration with end users, operations, and agency teams.
• Conduct QA testing for email campaigns and components to ensure accuracy and functionality.
• Ensure adherence to email best practices, accessibility standards, and compliance requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers on SFMC capabilities.
• This role involves troubleshooting email and content block bugs alongside operations and agency teams. The developer will provide campaign support and triage for the client-side SFMC engineering team, while maintaining the Email Design System across multiple SFMC instances.
