Data Cloud Consultant

Skills:

It is desirable that the candidate has a Salesforce Certified Data Cloud Consultant certification, and should have experience in implementing and consulting on enterprise data platforms in a customer-facing role, including design, configuration, and solution architecture.

Recommendation:

1. Experience in implementing and working with strategy and data modeling, including building multiple solutions on Salesforce clouds.
2. Have experience in development, strategy, business analysis, pre-sales solutions, or architecture.

Job Description:

• Responsible for conducting customer discussions around requirements and technical drawing.
• Development of software programs by technical specifications following programming standards and procedures, performing unit tests, performing program modifications and responding to problems by diagnosing and correcting logic and coding errors.
• Ensure that secure coding and UI standards and best practices are applied during development.
• Provide inputs and contribute to the improvement and maintenance of applications and programs.
• Leading efforts to configure, analyze, design, develop, and maintain program code and applications.
• Execution of detailed and complex unit tests and secure code testing and troubleshooting.
• Conducting and supporting the source code management process.
• Contributing to integration, systems and performance testing and code tuning.
• Participation in secure code peer reviews.
• Definition and promotion of opportunities for the reuse of code, configurations, procedures and techniques.

Requirements:

• Degrees in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field are preferred.
• Fluency in English to conduct technical meetings with offshore team, support teams and customers outside Brazil.
• Experience with Data Architecture.
• Experience in writing SQL queries and data modeling, as well as governance and architecture performance practice and guidelines.
• Proficient in migrating data from traditional applications to Salesforce using the Import Wizard and Data Loader utility.
• Experienced in handling multi-country deployments and managing multiple instances of Salesforce.com.
• Experience with setting up and customizing managed Field Service packages is a plus.
• Solution Modeling - Creates, designs, and formulates models, diagrams, and documentation using IT processes, standards, tools, version control, and build and test automation to meet business, technical, security, governance, and compliance requirements.
• Data Modeling - Creates, writes, and tests data models, test scripts, and build scripts using IT processes, patterns, and tools, version control, and automation.
• Performance tuning - Conceptualizes, analyzes, and resolves application, database, and hardware issues using IT processes, standards, and tools, version control, and build and test automation to meet business, technical, security, governance, and compliance requirements.
• Solution Validation Testing - Validates a configuration item or solution change using the IT Operating Model (ITOM), including SDLC standards, tools, and metrics, to ensure that it works as designed and meets customer requirements.
• Customer Focus - Building strong customer relationships and providing customer-centric solutions.
• Manages complexity – Understanding complex, high‑quantity, and sometimes contradictory information to solve problems effectively.
• Global perspective – Take a broad view when addressing issues, using a global lens.
• Action‑oriented – Taking on new opportunities and difficult challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm.
• Optimizes work processes – Knowing the most effective and efficient processes to get things done, with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Knowledge of service‑oriented design (SOA) principles.
• Excellent oral, presentation and written communication skills.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Extensive knowledge of Salesforce technology and specifically the data cloud and its features and terminologies.
• Experience in positioning and implementing Salesforce Data Cloud.
• Salesforce Data Cloud certifications will be a plus for this role.
• Proven experience in implementation and consulting of Salesforce Data Cloud environments.
