Purpose
Reporting to the VP Business Development, this role acts as the central hub between sales and our customers (both internal customers as well as external) by providing sales support and service to expand Business Development / project service efforts in Latin America. This person will also be responsible for compiling and preparing presentations, proposals and contracts as needed. The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience as a professionally mature self‑starter, who is able to balance multiple projects and move them forward independently, while working collaboratively with sales ops and the project management team.
Essential Responsibilities
- Assist in the development of supporting materials for proposals and presentations, eg, product feature sheets, standard drawings, etc.
- Obtain deliverables from departments and team members to design, build, print and deliver compelling and dynamic Proposal Books and Presentations
- Researching and preparing market reports on various market segments in the Latin America region.
- Assisting the VP Business Development on market development strategies.
- Researching and preparing competitor reports for the Latin America region.
- Preparing presentations, sales and marketing packages and distributing to existing and prospective clients.
- Responding to client leads and inquiries via phone, email or in-person.
- Proactive Lead Generation through market research and client identification
- Inputting information and extracting information from a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
- Attending and supporting Whitewater sales personnel at trade shows and conferences, as required.
- Supporting the VP in the Latin America region with sales material and information as required.
- Traveling to various client and partner sites, or other venues, as required (up to %).
- Supporting the Project Services Department at Whitewater headquarters in Canada with clients requests, warranty and performance issues, as well as spare parts sales opportunities
Qualification & Experience
- Experience working in a global organization
- University degree in business, marketing, Graphic Design or equivalent
- Minimum years’ experience in a similar role (providing administrative support to Leadership / Executives & remote based staff)
- Expert in Adobe Creative Cloud (CC) such as In‑Design, Photoshop, Illustrator
- Proven proficiency of Microsoft Office Suites
- Experience working on contracts, proposals and / or presentations is an asset
- Experience using Microsoft Dynamics CRM would be an asset
- Fluent in Portuguese and English required. Spanish would be an asset
