• Experience with end-to-end roaming testing for voice, SMS, and data services.
• Proficiency in executing IREG test cases according to GSMA guidelines.
• Strong analytical skills for signaling traces and logs.

• Liaise with foreign operators, roaming hubs, and internal teams during implementation and troubleshooting.
• Maintain up‑to‑date test results, network configurations, and operational procedures.
• Oversee footprint management of all 1GLOBAL products, working closely with the wholesale and other networks team.

Position Overview

We are seeking a talented and detail‑oriented Roaming IREG Engineer to manage the entire roaming process and procedures. As an IREG Engineer you will be responsible for the technical setup, testing, and maintenance of international roaming and interconnect services.

This is a Lisbon‑based position and relocation will be required; relocation support may be provided for the selected candidate.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and document IREG tests (IR.24, IR.35, IR.50, etc.) for voice, SMS, and data services in line with GSMA standards.
• Set up and verify interconnect links for voice and messaging services with partner operators.
• Monitor roaming service KPIs, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with roaming agreements.
• Configure and test SS7, Diameter, SIP, and related signaling protocols marches international connectivity.
• Liaise with foreign operators, roaming hubs, and internal teams during implementation and troubleshooting cravings.
• Maintain up‑to‑date test results, network configurations, and operational procedures.
• Oversee the footprint management of all 1GLOBAL products, working closely with the wholesale and other networks team.

Requirements

• Perform end‑to‑end roaming testing (voice, SMS, data, CAMEL, VoLTE, 5G roaming).
• Execute IREG test cases according to GSMA guidelines and bilateral agreements.
• Analyze and designation (signaling traces and logs).
• Work closely with international어서 partners to resolve interconnect problems.
• Manage and update roaming documentation (IR.21).
• Support new roaming launches (testing and activation of new operators, technologies, and services).
• Coordinate with internal teams (Core Network, Billing, etc.) during testing and troubleshooting.
• Validate TAP files and charging/billing aspects of roaming services.
• Monitor KPIs and performance of roaming services after launch.
