A leading research consultancy is seeking a mixed-methods Research Analyst to work on quantitative and qualitative research projects. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a research setting, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication abilities in English. This role is fully remote but requires collaboration with teams in Pacific Time, so applicants must be willing to work flexible hours. Opportunities to analyze data and create impactful deliverables are integral to this position.

Qualificações

We're looking for a mixed-methods Research Analyst who will work on both quantitative and qualitative research projects, such as surveys, longitudinal panel studies, diary studies, usability studies, and IDIs. Using Pulse Labs' proprietary tools and platforms, you’ll dive deep into rich video and survey data to analyze, interpret, and report users’ interactions with and perceptions about next-gen products.

You will be an integral member of a talented and dedicated group of fellow analysts and researchers working in a fast-paced, rapid-response environment where rigor and quality are paramount. This is a 100% full-time remote requiring at least 80% overlap with Pacific Time (UTC/GMC-8). At times, you will be required to work before and after standard work hours, including weekends, to ensure quality and on-time client delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with senior level researchers to understand research projects, including customer requirements, timelines, analysis plan, and business goals.
  • Assist project team members with the logistical operations of the research projects, such as maintaining research timelines, project schedules, question banks, data repositories, and other research-related artifacts.
  • Use your analytic skills related to survey methodology, UX research, and questionnaire design to help with executing sound research projects, delivering actionable research insights, and ensuring high client satisfaction.
  • Work closely with the operations team to make sure collected data matches the study requirements.
  • Ensure sound research methods while assisting with initial project plans, analyses, and creating final reports for clients.
  • Analyze responses from participant videos and transcripts, surveys, and other study data to develop key research findings and recommendations for clients.
  • Under the guidance of senior researchers, create deliverables for clients including scorecards, toplines, reports, and slide decks.
  • Develop high quality data visualizations, communicating data and findings cleanly, effectively, and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with the team and across the company to improve our internal processes.
Basic Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience working as an analyst in a research setting or in a detail-oriented operations environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
  • Knowledge of the end-to-end research lifecycle, including research methods/approaches and common analyses, specifically those related to human-centered design and user experience.
  • Experience working on a team of analysts and researchers as well as alongside operations personnel in a rapid-response, often ambiguous environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication.
  • High attention to detail and ability to recognize patterns and anomalies in qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Collaborative attitude and ability to foster a positive work environment.
  • Very comfortable using emerging technologies and different software systems.
  • High comfort working with Google Docs, Google Sheets, or similar products.
  • Undergraduate degree in psychology, research methods, survey methodology, human computer interaction, sociology, or related field.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Graduate degree
  • Previous work in a consulting environment conducting research for commercial clients.
  • Previous work with early-to-mid stage startups and/or FAANG or other top tech companies.
