Overview

Requirements Engineer for Cloud based Digital Emergency Services – TK Elevator. This role is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and documenting the requirements for Digital Emergency Services features in cloud backend, embedded systems, CPaaS, security, and operations, ensuring that final deliverables meet regulatory requirements and business needs. You will work with a dynamic, global team to solve challenging problems and develop new digital solutions.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product owners and field organizations to understand needs and translate them into clear, actionable requirements.
• Translate regulatory and business requirements into detailed product features and specifications for development teams.
• Create comprehensive requirement documents, including functional specifications, use cases, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Support the development process with the product owner, including defining feature scope, tracking progress, and ensuring alignment with goals.
• Maintain and update technical documentation throughout the product lifecycle.
• Develop test plans and test cases to validate solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in requirements engineering or a related role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with large, complex, highly scalable systems; preference for emergency systems, embedded systems, IoT, or similar solutions.
• Knowledge of writing test cases and conducting manual testing (Unit, Integration, Functional).
• Coding skills and experience with IoT and cloud applications are a plus.
• Proficiency with requirement management tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps).
• Experience with modeling techniques (e.g., UML, BPMN) is a plus.
• Knowledge of agile software development methodologies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
