Job summary

Eurofins Scientific is seeking a technical and hands-on Release and Deployment Coordinator to own the end-to-end release lifecycle across our IT Solutions landscape. You will actively participate in deployment execution, maintain pipelines, troubleshoot issues, and ensure secure, high-quality deployments without business disruption.

Qualifications

We are looking for a technical and hands-on Release and Deployment Coordinator to own and drive the end-to-end Release lifecycle across our IT Solutions landscape. This role goes beyond coordination: the ideal candidate is deeply involved in the technical execution of deployments, actively maintaining technical configurations, deployment pipelines, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring smooth promotion of IT Applications and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) across environments, from development to production. You will be responsible for planning, configuring, executing, and continuously improving Release processes across hundreds of instances, ensuring reliable, secure, and high-quality deployments without disruption to Business Operations.

Acting as a key interface between DevOps, engineering, infrastructure, security, and business teams, you will combine coordination skills with strong technical expertise and hands-on execution capability.

Key Responsibilities

Release & Deployment Execution

• Execute and manage end-to-end deployments across non-production and production environments
• Maintain and optimise deployment pipelines, technical configurations, and automation scripts
• Actively troubleshoot deployment failures, analyse root causes, and implement fixes
• Ensure all Releases meet quality, security, and operational standards

Technical Ownership

• Own and maintain deployment tooling configuration (CI/CD pipelines, Release orchestration tools)
• Contribute hands-on to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) deployments and validation
• Support and collaborate with DevOps engineers while remaining autonomous in execution
• Participate in incident resolution related to deployments

Coordination & Governance

• Coordinate release schedules across multiple teams and environments
• Ensure compliance with ITIL Change Management process
• Drive clear communication between technical teams and business stakeholders
• Manage dependencies and mitigate risks proactively

Continuous Improvement

• Identify and implement improvements in deployment processes, automation, and toolingOptimise for performance, scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency
• Contribute to standardisation across a large and growing IT Applications landscape
• Promote DevOps best practices and automation-first mindset

Qualifications & Experience

Required Experience

• 4–6 years of experience in Release engineering, deployment management, or DevOps-oriented roles
• Proven experience in hands-on deployment execution and troubleshooting
• Experience working in complex, multi-environment, large-scale IT landscapes

Technical Skills

Strong practical knowledge in several of the following areas:

• Operating Systems: Windows, Linux
• Databases: MSSQL, PostgreSQL
• Cloud Platform: Microsoft Azure
• CI/CD & Deployment Tools: Azure DevOps Pipelines, Octopus Deploy, Terraform Cloud
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform (or equivalent)
• ITSM Tools: ServiceNow, BMC Helix, Jira
• Monitoring & Observability: Grafana (or equivalent)
