A leading sales organization is seeking a Regional Sales Manager focused on maintaining and expanding relationships within the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry. Candidates should have 5-10 years of experience in Capital Equipment sales and be self-motivated. This is a remote position with required travel and a competitive salary proposed between $80,000 and $100,000 plus bonuses. Ideal candidates are proficient in CRM tools and possess a strong technical aptitude.

Job Description
  • The Regional Sales Manager will be focused on maintaining and expanding relationships with existing and potential customers, primarily in the pharmaceutical manufacturing space
  • The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for a multi-million dollar territory with an average size Capital Equipment deal of $350k+
  • The Regional Sales Manager must be comfortable performing business development activities, customer visits and technical product demonstrations.
Requirements
  • 5-10 years of Capital Equipment sales experience ideally focused on the manufacturing and production space
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn complex equipment and processes.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented; ability to track and maintain information in a CRM, ideally Salesforce.com

Location: This is a remote opportunity where candidates must be based in Chicago, IL or Raleigh/Charlotte, NC or Atlanta, GA (covering a Midwest/Southeast territory); Travel up to 50% throughout territory and to events
