What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  • Proactively identify and secure new business opportunities across industrial markets, including OEMs and distributors
  • Build and maintain consultative relationships with engineers, buyers, and decision-makers
  • Develop and manage a healthy sales pipeline through networking, trade shows, and distributor partnerships
  • Strengthen partnerships with distributors and drive their performance through training and support
  • Maintain accurate activity and performance records in the employer's CRM system
What is Required (Qualifications):
  • Proven success in outside sales or regional sales management roles
  • Ability to develop new business and consistently achieve sales targets
  • Strong consultative selling skills with the capacity to build relationships at all levels
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation and negotiation abilities
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to thrive in a travel-intensive role
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent years of sales experience
  • Background in industrial or technical applications, particularly in oil and gas, chemical, or process industries
  • Familiarity with instrumentation products, such as temperature sensors and pressure gauges
  • Experience with OEM sales and distributor channel development
  • Proficiency in CRM platforms and Microsoft Office products
