Cognyte seeks an experienced R&D Director to lead the Brazil R&D division, collaborating with Global R&D to drive innovation across security analytics software. You’ll manage budgets, contracts, and talent, while delivering globally on product development and service projects.

You will shape the technology strategy with the management team, oversee partnerships, and advance the AI journey within our investigative analytics platform. Fluency in English is required.

• Experience leading R&D in a global, multinational environment.
• Proven track record as an R&D Director with strategic delivery.
• Strong knowledge of systems architecture, software technologies and agile methods.
• Demonstrated people leadership and talent development.
• Experience with project delivery and services contracts.

Responsabilidades

• Manage the Brazil R&D division in coordination with Global R&D.
• Drive new solutions and contributions to existing products.
• Oversee product house in Brazil and worldwide project delivery.
• Shape strategy with global management and budget oversight.
• Lead contracts with outsourcers and strategic partners.
• Develop the talent pipeline and leadership in Brazil.
• Guide innovation and the AI journey across products.
• Collaborate with Product, Projects, Support and Pre‑sales teams.

As R&D Director you’ll make an impact on:

• Managing the R&D division in Brazil in collaboration with Global R&D
• Bringing new Solutions and contributions to the current products
• Product house in Brazil, delivery of projects and services Globally
• Building the strategy along with the management team and Global R&D management
• Budget management for R&D, Delivery and Services
• Manage contracts with outsourcing companies and strategy
• People leadership for R&D in Brazil, developing the talent pipeline
• Driving innovation and AI journey
• Partnership with Product, Projects, Support and Pre-sales divisions

Your toolbox

• Experience in Global environment and multinational companies
• Solid experience as R&D Director
• Knowledge about: Systems Architecture, Software Technologies, Software development, Agile Methodology and Services
• People management and talent development experience is a must
• Experience with Project Management, Project Delivery and Services is a must
• Product Management is a plus
• Desired experience in Telecom
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related areas
• MBA in SFW Management / Projects / IT courses is a plus

Fluent English is a must
