Role Overview As a QC Analyst - Audio Content, you will be responsible for reviewing and ensuring the quality, accuracy, and consistency of audio files across different stages of production. This includes raw voice files submitted by voice-over artists and mastered audio files (with SFX and music) delivered by agencies. You will work closely with voice artists, agencies, and internal teams to ensure all audio content aligns with scripts, quality guidelines, and storytelling objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Audio Quality Control (Raw & Mastered Files) Review raw voice-over recordings to ensure clarity, acting, delivery, pronunciation, tone, pacing, and adherence to script. Evaluate mastered audio files (SFX + background music) for overall listening experience, sound ambiences, balance, and quality standards. Ensure all audio assets meet defined QC guidelines and Specs before approval.
  2. Script-to-Audio Alignment Verify that audio delivery accurately follows the approved script, including dialogue, tone, and emotional expression. Identify and flag mismatches, missing lines, or deviations in narration.
  3. Technical & Creative Accuracy Check audio for: Voice clarity and consistency; Emotional delivery and storytelling effectiveness; Background noise or distortions; Timing and pacing issues; Proper integration of SFX and music in mastered files; Grammatically incorrect words/sentences; Physical noise of voice artist; Abrupt cut / jerk; Sibilance; Fumble / mumble.
  4. Vendor & Artist Coordination Collaborate with voice-over artists and external agencies to communicate QC feedback. Ensure timely implementation of revisions and re-submissions.
  5. QC Documentation & Tracking Provide detailed QC feedback at timecode (TC) level. Update QC comments and statuses in internal tools or Excel trackers based on show type (AI and PGC content). Maintain records for submissions, revisions, approvals, and delivery timelines.
  6. Pre-Release Quality Checks Ensure all audio files are QC-approved before publishing or release on the platform. Validate that final output meets both technical and creative standards.
  7. Cross-Team Collaboration Work closely with writers, production teams, post production agencies, and content managers to ensure seamless audio quality. Align with internal guidelines and storytelling expectations across shows.
  8. Process Improvement Identify recurring audio quality issues across voice artists or agencies. Recommend improvements to QC processes, guidelines, and production workflows. Understand how an audience reacts to certain genres of content to connect with the audience. Stay abreast with changes in the voice requirements and technology.
  9. Volume & Deadline Management Handle QC for approximately 80 hours of audio content within defined timelines. Maintain high-quality standards while managing large volumes of content.
  10. AI Voice Quality Review & Enhancement Review AI-generated voice content to identify issues impacting listener experience, including but not limited to: Accent inconsistencies and unnatural speech patterns; Mispronunciations and incorrect word stress; Lack of emotion, expression, or character differentiation; Robotic delivery, pacing irregularities, or unnatural pauses; Voice continuity and tonal inconsistencies across episodes; Contextually inappropriate emphasis or dialogue delivery. Perform basic audio patchwork and corrective edits using approved audio editing tools to address identified issues wherever feasible. Document AI voice-related observations with clear, actionable feedback at the time-code level and track recurring issues to support model improvements and production quality enhancements. Collaborate with AI production, content, and post-production teams to ensure continuous improvement in AI-generated audio quality and listener engagement.
