Job summary

INSPYR Solutions is seeking a seasoned QA Automation Lead to oversee five QA engineers while remaining hands-on with testing in a fast-paced Agile environment.

The ideal candidate will mentor the team, improve QA processes, and drive high-quality software delivery. The role emphasizes leadership, collaboration with developers and product managers, and a strong command of Playwright and Tosca.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading or mentoring QA teams.
• Strong background in both manual and automated software testing.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright.
• Hands-on experience with Tosca.
• Experience testing REST APIs and backend services.
• Experience validating databases using SQL.
• Strong understanding of Agile software development.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to prioritize work, remove blockers, and keep testing efforts moving forward.
• Mature, professional leadership style with the ability to coach and develop team members.

Responsibilities

• Identify risks, improve testing processes, and help drive QA best practices.
• Troubleshoot defects and work with development teams through resolution.
• Balance hands-on testing with leadership responsibilities.

Overview

We're looking for an experienced QA Lead to oversee a team of five QA engineers while remaining hands-on with testing efforts. This person should be a strong technical leader who can mentor others, improve QA processes, and ensure high-quality software delivery in a fast-paced Agile environment.

The ideal candidate has deep experience across both manual and automated testing, is an expert in Playwright and Tosca, and leads by example. Strong communication, sound judgment, and the maturity to guide a team are just as important as technical skills.
