AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Software QA Engineer to bolster quality across the SDLC for Fortune 500 clients. You will build regression automation scripts, perform manual validation, and execute diverse testing types to ensure proper software behavior.

Join a people-focused team and apply Gherkin for behavior-driven testing, contribute to test strategy, collaborate with product and customer teams, and help deliver high-quality software with a client-first mindset.

Qualificações

• 3+ years in a software quality assurance role.
• 3+ years of automated testing experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Gherkin experience for behavior-driven development.
• Experience with prompt engineering and harness engineering.
• Agentic skills focused on Quality Engineering.

Responsabilidades

• Build regression automation scripts that support app functionality.
• Manually test software for validation and accuracy based on criteria.
• Execute smoke, regression, integration, performance testing, etc.
• Record documentation of feature behavior and pass/fail criteria.
• Identify and escalate risk to quality of product or process.
• Collaborate with product teams to ensure quality across SDLC.
• Work with customer-facing teams to incorporate user feedback.
• Participate in refinement and effort estimations for planning.
• Use GitHub to maintain automation repos and run scripts.
• Participate in On-Call rotation.

ABOUT THE ROLE

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• - Build regression automation scripts that support app functionality.
• - Manually test software for validation and accuracy based on defined set of criteria.
• - Execute smoke, regression, integration, performance and other testing types to ensure proper behavior of software.
• - Record detailed documentation of feature behavior.
• - Record pass/fails conditions of tests and correlate failures to bug identification.
• - Identify and elevate risk to quality of the product or the process.
• - Collaborate with the product team to ensure quality throughout the SDLC and product release cycles.
• - Collaborate with customer-facing teams to incorporate user feedback in the testing strategy.
• - Participate in refinement and estimations of effort to promote accurate planning.
• - Utilize GitHub to maintain automation repositories, run custom scripts, and facilitate automated quality practices.
• - Participate in On-Call rotation.

MUST HAVES

• - 3+ years of experience in a software quality assurance role.
• - 3+ years of experience in automated testing.
• - Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• - Possess a mindset focused on holistic quality.
• - Experience writing and working with Gherkin for behavior-driven development.
• - Experience with prompt engineering and harness engineering.
• - Experience building Agentic skills focused on Quality Engineering.

NICE TO HAVES

• - Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Jest, Playwright, Postman, JMeter or any other object-oriented based automated testing framework.
• - Experience with testing support functionalities such as GitHub Actions, LambdaTest, SendGrid, Datadog, PagerDuty.
• - Proficiency in SQL.
• - Experience with Ruby on Rails and backend development.
• - Understanding of quality management systems and quality control processes.
• - Background in data-based testing and/or security-based testing.
• - A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other relevant experience.
