About the Role

This role combines Public Relations and Community Management in one position. You will lead our external communication efforts, shaping our public image, managing media relations, and crafting strong narratives while also building and engaging our online and offline communities. Your work will ensure consistent messaging, increased brand visibility, and a positive experience for our audiences across all channels.

What You'll do
Public Relations (PR)
  • Develop and implement effective PR strategies to improve the company's visibility and reputation.
  • Draft and distribute press releases, media kits, and other PR materials.
  • Build relationships with journalists, influencers, and media outlets to secure positive press coverage.
  • Coordinate and manage media appearances, interviews, and speaking opportunities for company leadership.
  • Organise PR campaigns to increase brand awareness and establish the company as a thought leader in its industry.
  • Work with the PR agency to monitor, measure, and analyse results, tracking key metrics such as media reach, engagement, sentiment, and share of voice to evaluate performance and guide future strategies.
Community Management
  • Develop and execute strategies to engage with and grow our online and offline communities.
  • Build strong, lasting relationships with community members across social media, forums, events, and other channels.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for community feedback, addressing inquiries, concerns, and suggestions in a timely and professional manner.
  • Track and analyse community sentiment, providing actionable insights and regular reports to management to guide improvements and identify emerging trends.
  • Manage online communities across platforms like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and others.
What You'll bring
  • 5+ years of experience in public relations and community management.
  • Proven track record of building online communities and successfully executing PR campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, online engagement techniques, and content creation tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages.
  • Experience with media relations, including pitching stories and working with journalists.
  • Ability to analyze data and report on the effectiveness of campaigns and initiatives.
  • Proactive and able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Track and report on the effectiveness of PR campaigns and community engagement activities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
